Kelo

Kelo vs Satago

Satago sells three products in one. You may only need part of it.

Satago bundles chasing, credit risk checking and invoice finance. If you want all three from one supplier that is genuinely convenient and priced fairly. If you only ever wanted to know what to chase this week, you are buying a finance platform to get a to-do list.

Choose Satago if

You want to check a prospect’s creditworthiness before taking them on, or you expect to draw on invoice finance to bridge cash gaps. Those are substantial capabilities and Kelo has neither. Bundling them with chasing at £45 is a reasonable deal if you will genuinely use all three.

Choose Kelo if

Your clients are people you already know and trust, you are not borrowing against your ledger, and the actual problem is that chasing keeps sliding down the list. Kelo gives you one number and one action a week, with the message drafted and nothing sent until you approve it.

Read Satago’s entry tier carefully before comparing prices

Satago’s £45 plan is the number that appears in most roundups, but at that level reminders are capped at 100 a month and do not send from your own email address. Sending from a third-party domain matters more than it sounds — it is the single most common reason chasing emails land in spam or get ignored by a client who does not recognise the sender.

Their £80 Premium tier removes those limits, which is the fairer comparison against Kelo at £99. At that point the difference is not really price. It is whether you want a credit and finance platform that also chases, or a weekly decision about what to chase.

Kelo is deliberately narrow. It does not check credit, it does not lend against your ledger, and it will not be the right tool if either of those is what you came looking for. What it does is answer one question every week — of everything you are owed, what is the single thing worth doing now — and put a drafted message behind the answer.

Common questions

Is Satago cheaper than Kelo?

At list price yes — Satago starts at £45 against Kelo’s £99. But the £45 tier caps reminders at 100 a month and does not send from your own email address. Their comparable Premium tier is £80.

Does Kelo offer invoice finance or credit checking?

Neither. Satago does both and they are a genuine part of its value. If you need funding against unpaid amounts or want to credit-check new clients, Kelo cannot help and Satago can.

Does Kelo send from my own email address?

Messages are drafted for you to review, and you send them yourself after approving, so they come from you with your history and signature attached.

What does Kelo actually do that Satago does not?

It decides. Kelo ranks everything outstanding by value and days late and gives you one prioritised action each week rather than a dashboard and a set of rules to configure.
