Priced against what you get back.
One recovered payment of £1,200 covers a full year of Recover, £990 paid annually. Most weeks, the number Kelo puts in front of you is considerably larger than that.

You did the work weeks ago. You are still waiting.
You know the feeling. The work went out, the client went quiet, and now it is on you to send the follow up for the third time, the one you rewrite five times so it does not sound desperate. Meanwhile you are heads down on the next job, and the amount you are actually owed lives in your head, not on a page.
Kelo puts that number on the page, tells you the one client to chase first, and writes the message in your voice so all you do is press send. The whole job, done in the ten minutes you would have spent dreading it.
If you are a freelancer
Freelancer Pro is £9 a month. Getting one late payment in, even once, covers it many times over. If Kelo recovers nothing in your first month, it is free.
If you run an agency or team
Recover is £99 a month. One recovered payment of £1,200 covers the whole year. Most weeks, the number Kelo shows you is a good deal larger than that.
What you get back, beyond the money:
- Your hours. The average freelancer loses around twenty days a year to chasing. That is your time, not theirs.
- The awkwardness. Kelo writes the firm, polite version, so you are not the one agonising over the wording at 9pm.
- The knowing. Most owners cannot tell you what they are owed off the top of their head. Not knowing is its own quiet stress. Kelo just tells you.
- The cash flow. Money that lands two weeks sooner is money you are not lying awake about.
Taking a few pilots
Not sure yet? Take a pilot place instead.
Kelo is early, but it is open, you can start on Free today, no invite needed. If you would rather we set it up with you, we are also taking on a handful of businesses hands-on and learning from each one.
The Free plan lets you see what you are owed, forever. A pilot gives you everything Kelo does, the chasing and tracking, free for one month.
Pilot places are free for one month. In exchange, if Kelo recovers money for you, we would like to publish the figure and your name. If it recovers nothing, we want to know that too, and you owe us nothing either way.
That is the whole trade: you get one month free, we get proof we can show the next person. If you would rather not be named, pay the £99 and skip the obligation entirely.
Your email reaches us directly, and we reply within one working day.
There is cheaper software. It answers a different question.
Reminder tools start once a payment is already late, and they ask you to build the sequences. That is a real job and they do it well. Kelo answers the question before it: of everything you are owed right now, which single thing should you do this week, and what is it worth?
If you want reminder automation and nothing more, buy the cheaper tool, we would rather tell you that than take £99 a month from someone we cannot help.
Questions people actually ask
Why does Kelo cost more than other Xero chasing tools?
Because it is measured against a different number. Tools at £45–50 a month automate reminders once an invoice is already overdue. Kelo tells you how much is stuck across everything you are owed and gives you the single action that recovers the most of it. If that action recovers one payment of £1,200, it has covered a year of Recover. If it does not, you should not be paying us.
Is there a free version?
Yes. The Free tier connects Xero or QuickBooks read-only and shows you your weekly number and your prioritised chase queue, forever, no card. That is genuinely useful on its own. Recover adds the part that saves the time and proves the result: Kelo writes each chase message, waits for your approval, and tracks what actually comes back.
What happens if I do not recover anything?
Then Kelo is not working for you and you should stop paying for it. We would rather hear that early. Every recovered amount is tracked and attributed, so the figure is checkable rather than a matter of opinion.
Does Kelo email my clients automatically?
No. Every message is drafted for you and waits for your approval. You can edit any word before it goes. For an owner-run business the client relationship is the asset, so unsupervised sending is a risk, not a feature.
Which accounting software do you connect to?
Xero and QuickBooks, both read-only. Sage is planned. Connecting takes about three minutes and Kelo never has permission to change anything in your ledger.
Is annual billing worth it?
It saves you two months, £198 on Recover. It is worth it if you already know Kelo works for you. If you do not know that yet, start on Free, pay monthly, or take a pilot place. We would rather you committed to a year after seeing a recovered payment than before. Annual comes with a full refund inside the first 14 days, no questions asked, and after that the year runs to its end.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Email [email protected] and we will stop the next payment. There is no notice period and no exit process to sit through.
