Xero connection questions
Is the Xero connection read-only?
Yes. Kelo connects to Xero read-only and can never change anything in your ledger. It reads your invoices, payments and contacts to work out what is outstanding, and nothing more.
Does Kelo send emails to my clients automatically from Xero?
No. Kelo drafts each chase message for you and waits for your approval. You can edit any word before it goes. For an owner-run business the client relationship is the asset, so unsupervised sending is a risk, not a feature.
How is this different from Xero’s built-in invoice reminders?
Xero shows an aged-debtors report and sends up to five scheduled reminders from an @xero.com address. Kelo tells you which single invoice to chase first by value and days late, and writes the message in your voice. Xero removes the sending; Kelo removes the deciding.
Which Xero plan do I need?
Any Xero plan that includes sales invoices. Connecting takes about three minutes through Xero’s standard secure sign-in, and you can disconnect at any time.
How much does it cost?
Free to connect and see what you are owed, your weekly number and prioritised chase queue. Recover is £99 a month and adds the drafted messages, the approval-first sending, and the recovered-amount proof. One recovered payment usually covers the year.
